A majority shareholding in Berkeley Security Bureau (Forensic) Limited has been acquired by AVC Global Services. AVC is a leading international provider of rollout and configuration managed services, software, hardware and networking solutions for telecommunications, audio visual services, broadband, satellite installation, wireless communications and infrastructure services.

BSB Forensic was established in 1997 as an independent provider of forensic support in the fields of Forensic Video, Image/Facial Comparison, Forensic Audio, Forensic Computers and Mobile Phones, Questioned Documents and Fingerprints. BSB Forensic is used extensively by many of the UK’s Police Forces, Criminal and Civil Lawyers, Government Agencies and Commercial Clients.

AVC see the acquisition of BSB Forensic as a unique addition to their current portfolio and are keen to introduce BSB’s services to their many clients as a way to test and validate their services as well as giving their clients a fast track, should they become victims of fraud or malicious attacks to property or resources.

There are significant benefits to both companies in the relationship between AVC and BSB Forensic; AVC having direct access to the expertise of an independent forensic provider dealing with significant amounts of forensic case work, while BSB Forensic gains access to a highly skilled and efficient technology group, capable of developing application specific systems and processes to provide new forensic solutions when required.
